Is It Possible To Get Symptoms Of HSV-1 After 6 Months Of Contracting It?
my girlfriend just found out last week she has genital cold sore hsv-1, she says she got it from me, we have been together for 6 months, i read that symptoms show 2-20 days after contracting it, is it possible i gave it to her and its showing now 6 moths later.

Once you get herpes, after an episode virus stays dormant in the nerves and can come out as an outbreak any time. So it all depends on when she got her first episode. If her very first episode was last week, then she got it 2-7 days prior.
