Is It Pregnancy That Causes 1.5 Day Periods, Cramps, Nausea?
Hello, I had a 1.5 day period which is very unusual for me, it was red the first day and brown the next. I have been feeling sick everyday around 5pm. Having extreme nausea but no throwing up, cramping in my uterus, and headaches followed with mild back pain. And I'm not wanting to eat much, due to my stomach feeling uncomfortable all day. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative, but could I be pregnant?
Hullo and welcome to Healthcare Magic forum. Scanty periods or spotting : negligible amount of bleeding at the time of expected periods or even after it can be quite confusing: it may be a sign of pregnancy,intra- or extra-uterine, or even a disturbed pregnancy i.e. abortion. You haven't mentioned the duration of normal periods in your case, whether you have a 4-5 day period or more. However, what is required is an ultrasonography to assess uterus and ovaries. Nausea and abdominal cramps may be features of pregnancy or an unrelated gastro-intestinal problem. Consult your gynaec as soon as possible.
