Is It Risky To Keep The Miscarriage Inside For Over 3 Weeks?
i just found out i have a miscarriage yesterday at my ultrasound appointment at 18 weeks. My baby passed away 2 weeks ago at 16 weeks. My hospital does not have any surgery appointment for me right away but I have to wait until next Wednesday. I am very worried that i may have an infection inside already and don't want to wait, to risk my health/life as i have 2 small children. is it risky to keep the miscarriage inside for over 3 weeks? is there something I can do to escalate a sooner surgery appointment? I am willing to go to any hospital facility that has an available slot.
Hello, I can understand your condition and your concern is very logical... I want to advise you that you should undergo removal of abortus as soon as possible...you can not wait for even a day, when you are knowing that you have lost a baby inside... If it takes time, then there are every chances of infection and spreading of that infection to nearby organs and sometimes in blood lead to septicaemia, a life threatening condition... So you must appoint a doctor and remove the remanants of abortus as early as possible... You can ask any further queries to me anytime...
