Is It Safe Getting A Tattoo Done To Cover Back Surgery Scar?
My son age 22 had scoliosis surgery 2 years ago. 2 weeks ago tomorrow he went to the hospital for pericarditis. They don t know why, we are still waiting for results of thyroids He did have a tooth filled a week or two before this. And now he is planning on getting a tattoo to cover back surgery scar. Is this risky in your opinion?

Hello, Tattoos have their own side effects. such as granuloma , keloid, hypersensitivity etc can occur. It can interfere during MRI scans. I would suggest you to visit a dermatologist for scar reduction procedures, only 50%to 60% of the scar can be reduced, complete reduction is not possible.
