Is It Safe Taking Azithral For Cold & Cough
Hi. My brother in law is about 10 yrs kid , he is repeatedly having cold , cough. Sometime blood is coming out with cough and doctor prescribed him with Azithral 200 mg once a day. He is having more than 4 days, still there is no change. Still blood is coming out and same effects are seen. And he is having rashes on all over his facs. Plz help me. M worried.

I can understand your brother in law's situation and problem.
He is having haemoptysis ( blood in sputum ).
Following are the possible causes for haemoptysis.
1. Tuberculosis
2. Pneumonia
So better to get done chest x ray to rule out above mentioned conditions.
Azithral will not help much.
So better to first diagnose him and then start appropriate treatment.
