Is It Safe Taking Cerazette And Sea Kelp Tablets Together?
I ve currently been switched onto the Cerazette contraceptive pill, 10 days ago I finished a heavy and painful five day long period, only ten days later I ve now started another period. I was on Microgynon 30 and had periods at the same time each month with only a little bit of pain, I know that it s quite common to have irregular bleeding when starting a new pill, but I ve started taking Sea Kelp tablets again too and I m just wondering if it s okay to take them both together? I m 19 years old, weigh 8 stone 4lb and I m 5 foot 5 inches, I have been taking Cerazette for 20 days now.
Cerazette is a progesterone only contraceptive whereas Microgynon is a combined pill consisting of two hormones, Levonorgesterel and ethinyl estradiol. Though Cerazette has side effect of irregular bleeding some times which usually go by itself with time. However, Cerazette is a better choice for women who can not tolerate estrogen or are breast feeding the baby. You can safely take Sea Kelp with Microgynon or Cerazette.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
