Is It Safe To Conceive When On Medication For Severe Inflammation?

My Pap tests suggests severe inflammation for which I have been advised candid cl vaginal pessaries for 3 days and antibiotic oflox tz for 5 days. My LMP was 13 nov (I have a 25 - 26 day cycle) and I had intercourse on 22 nov after which I started my course of antibiotics and candid. What are the chances that I can conceive and if I do would the oflox dose harm the pregnancy. I am 35 years old and I am trying for a second baby

I can understand your concern and appreciate your question. First of all i would like to tell you that pregnancy can occur if sperm can fertilize an ovum, which is released mostly at around 14th day of normal 28 day cycle.
So as per your details, 26 day cycle and LMP was 13th , so most probably ovum will be release around 25th nov. You had unprotected intercourse on 22nd,so there are every chances that you might become pregnant.
Coming to your candida infection, i would like to assure you that ofloxacine antibiotics will not affect or i should say will not harm the pregnancy, if it occurs. So remove such things from your mind and be stress free.
Keep your private parts clean regularly with soap water, which helps to cut down candida infection.
