I'm 20 yrs old and weigh 68 kgs, I'm down with jaundice and am still to know its cause.I wanted to know how severe it is because i feel alright, nut only have a heavy feeling in my stomach. No extreme fatigue nor fever. Also i have a few dinner meets and parties in the month of august. Is it safe to drink after a month of recovery?
Alcohol should be strictly avoided if your Liver enzymes (ALT; AST) are 2 to 3 times the upper limit (means>100). its better to let your liver enzymes return to normal and then you may continue drink once in a while. however, better to avoid alcohol. your also adviced ingest green vegetables, fruits daily. avoid junk food and cold drinks.
if any further questions, feel free to ask.
