Is It Safe To Give Asthalin With Dosage Of 2.5ml For Cough And Rattling Breathing?

My daughter has Cough. No cold and no fever. We gave her Septilin syrup and Adulsa (Ayurvedic) to begin with but did not help. So with a gap of a day we are now giving her Asthalin in a dosage of 2.5 ml in 8/10 hour intervals. Main problem is her rattling breathing when she sleeps at night. She is 1 year 4 months

In my opinion you should consult pediatrician as get done atleast chest x ray. Many times chest infection can cause similar symptoms. Other possibility is of asthma. So better to consult doctor rather than giving home remedies.
