Is It Safe To Give Omnacortil To My Child?
hello doctor,goog morning. my 5months old baby got cold and cough.my doctor prescribed Omnacortil drops.i give it to my baby 2 times.but i just know omnacortil is a steriod,is it safe to give a child?i'm so confused pls give me a good

For simple cough and cold Omnacortil drops are not necessary.
If your baby is suffering from asthma and response is not sufficient with salbutamol, Omnacortil may be prescribed .
It is not safe to prescribe steroids without proper indication
