Is It Safe To Give Polio Vaccine To A 21 Month Old Infant?

As you know there is polio spreading in Pakistan my son is 21 months old and I am giving him all vaccinations in time. Now the polio vaccine has to be given atthe age of 4 years as per chart. If I want to give him polio vaccine in this duration whT should be the interval?

Hello. I just read through your question. It is perfectly safe to give the Polio vaccine at age 24 months. You should not hesitate to do it. He will need another dose at age 4 years. However, this is NOT an overdose and he should recive the vaccine now as well.
