Is It Safe To Indulge In Sex During 1st Trimester?
hi doctor... i am 24 and pregnant. its my 1st time and i am just few weeks pregnant.. my question is that i and my husband seems to be indulging more into foreplay.. i try to control myself alot but while satisfying my husbands needs i feel i am also getting involved..i have heard sex is not safe during 1st trimester..is it true? is foreplay also not safe during this period?

If you and your baby are keeping good health, you can have sex in early pregnancy. Foreplay is also safe. It does not harm the baby. If you have bleeding per vagina, abdominal cramps, or history of repeated miscarriages then sex is not safe in early pregnancy.
There is one important caution which you should observe. If you indulge in oral- vaginal sex, make sure that your husband does not blow air in the vagina. This is known to cause fatal air embolism.
