my son was born with a sinus tract on his neck. You can squeeze it like a zit and a white substance comes out. They say it connects somewhere inside of him. How do they know it is safe to remove the sinus tract if they dont know what it is connected too?
This is a known anomaly with listed out probable attachment sites. During operation mind has to be kept open for all probable sites. A Sinugram may be done beforehand to get a better idea. Bit nothing replaces a good skilled surgeon.
