Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Cannabis has effects on lungs and blood pressure. These effects vary with the particular experience and the particular person. There is about a 1 in 6 risk of an asthma attack, but it tends to be in those who have had them before and not in those who haven't ever had breathing issues. The rise in blood pressure is not much with cannabis, but it is a reason to warn people. These are not big risks. How often do you think people take cannabis before, during, and after giving birth? Have you heard of any serious consequences from it; I have not. This would tend to indicate a low risk.
Hope I have answered your query.
