Is It Safe To Stop Hydrocodone For A Scheduled RFN Procedure?

I have an RFN procedure scheduled for 5 days from now but dr won t refill my hydrocodone. I know I take too much but having me wean off of it AFTER my procedure makes more sense to me than doing it now. Anyway, I also take xanax and he did prescribe gabapentin as an alternate painkiller. It does absolutely nothing for the pain, just makes me really tired, which is great when I want to sleep, but I have to work Monday. Gabapentin also makes me shakey, which doesn t help a person who gets panic attacks at the drop of a hat. Any advice?
