Hi. I am a seventy five year old with ankleosing spondylitis and also gout in both knees. The only relief I get is from Difene 75mg which I take once a week and it helps me for a few days. Is it all right to continue with this.I have no side effects .?
Difene (diclofenac sodium) is not advisable for long duration of time. If you take it may can cause kidney injury, peptic ulcer disease elevate blood pressure and fluid retention, etc. You may take Tramadol only after your doctor advice.
Use cold compression, heat compression and regular exercise. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
