Is It Safe To Take Forteo Daily When Suffering From Osteopenia?
I had s. i. Joint fusion with ifuse . I had steriod injections previously and it left me with osteopenia. For the bone to fuse properly my dr. Wants me to take forteo daily for 1 yr. since I m not menopausal and only have osteopenia is this a good idea. I don t want to chance bone cancer.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the condition of low bone density (Osteopnia), no specific treatment is available for this it is most advisable to change the little life style diet it would be much helpful than taling Forteo, no data is available as long as the this medicines is concern hope this information helps.
