Is It Safe To Take Isoxsuprine Hydrochloride During Pregnancy?
1. isoxsuprine hydrochloride is it safe for my wife to take in preganancy? She is 13 week pregenent and has uterus didelphys. She is first time pregnant after 3 year since marriage 2. Also how about the HCG injections ? are they safe. She is prescribed 1 everyweek. She is in her 13th week of pregnancy and has been taking it now for last 10 weeks.

Isoxsuprine prevents premature labor; HCG supports pregnancy and helps to enhance the production of hormones responsible to sustain pregnancy.
In my opinion both are very essential and have proven safety and have to be used in condition like double uterus(didelphys) to prevent abortion/miscarriage.

I am so sorry to hear about this uterus didelphys your wife has. Isoxsuprine has no controlled findings as concerns its possible impact in an unborn child. t is strongly advised not to take this drug unless the reasons for taking it are so so strong. I don't understand why she should be on HCG during pregnancy. it is a natural hormone which is produced during pregnancy. It cannot be any additional threat to her health or that of the baby as this is already present in her system
