Is It Safe To Take Norethisterone And Will I Get Pregnant?

I have pcos. N its my 3rd cycle of Clomid. I had Clomid from day 2 to day 6.... I tested with I sure n I have ovulated on day 16... I have told by my doctor to have norerthisterone from day 16 to day 25.....is it safe to have norerthisterone..Will I get pregnant with it or it will induce period.?

You are a patient of pcos .
You took clomifine and according this query you ovulated on day 16 , if sexual intercourse done on that day and if other condition were fit for fertilization , pregnancy occurs . Norethisterone don't help to get pregnancy , rather few gynecologist ( infertility specialist ) advise this hormone for stabilization of pregnancy i.e. already pregnant and this will prevent bleeding or help in endometriosis .
So many doctors advise such hormone to prevent miscarriage .
Hope this will help.
It will not induce period .
