I have gone through your query and would like to know if you have a history of irregular menstrual cycles if you are on any contraception or practice safe period.
In the current scenario, if you are not sure of pregnancy, I would ask you to get a pregnancy test to exclude/confirm pregnancy and plan further management accordingly. This is because, if you are pregnant, the medication is not going to induce a period. If you are not pregnant, you can use the medication after a meal and for at least three days or as advised by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shanti Vennam,
