HI, I have primary hypothyrodism and an currently taking levoxy in the morning and T3 in the evening one at 1:30 the other around 4:30). I heard that taking t3 in the eveing interferes with sleep. I d like to start taking T3 in the morning. is this something your recommend, if so how do I go about starting the dosage. Thanks, Darlene
I think it is best to coordinate questions like this with your regular doctor. In general these medicines are long lasting in their effects and in general there is not a time effect from them. If it were, it would be the peak drug effect 1 to 3 hrs after taking them so, earlier in the evening would overcome the sleep effect.
