Is It Safe To Take Utovlan 3 Times A Day?
Hello.
I just got a prescription of "triquilar 28" as contraceptive pills and I will start taking them when I have the next period, but only for a month.
However if I start it on my next period, I will probably have the next one on the days when I'll be on a trip and I would rather not have period during the trip.
I still have pills of Utovlan which I used before to delay my period, and I am wondering if it is okay to take Utovlan 3 times a day after the 21th triquilar pill instead of taking the 22th, and if the contraceptive cover will still continue whilst taking utovlan till the next period.

Hi,
You can take Utovlan as prescribed by your gynecologist. Keep in mind that you should not use Utovaln for more than 10 days at a stretch. It will provide contraceptive cover and no backup or additional contraceptives are not required while you are on Utovlan.
