Is It Safe To Take Vit C Medicine While On UTI Medicine?
Hi, according to the doctor, I have UTI, It s painful to urinate and my lower back is also painful. she gave me a prescription for 10 days. The antibiotic she gave is the ciprofloxacin twice a day. Just wanna ask if it is okay to take Vit C (sodium ascorbate) while taking the med? Thank you.

Hi! Vitamin C is a urinary acidifying agent and is commonly taken to prevent urinary tract infections. It is quite OK for you to take it in the usual dose along with your current therapy. All the best!
