Is It Safe To Take Warfarin With Flaxseed Capsules?
I would like to take flaxseed capsules perhaps one a day to start with but I am also taking warfarin. Is it safe to take a lower dose of warfarin with flaxseed and with my doctor s understanding. My skin is itchy and irritating me which is the reason for the flaxseed.

There is no documented adverse interaction between Warfarin and flaxseed. You may be worried that omega 3 fatty acids may increase the bleeding tendency. However there is no real evidence with warfarin and flaxseed.
You should discuss with your treating doctor and if he/she has no objections, you may take flaxseed capsules.
