Is It Safe To Take Duphaston For A Long Time?
Hi! My name is Jane and I am 49 years old. I had IVF and was tested positive for pregnancy last February and my doctor prescribed me with Duphaston 2 times 2 tablets up to 33 weeks and crinone up to 16 weeks. I gave birth in October but the baby died after 11 days of his birth due to infection. Is the duphaston safe to be taken for such a long time?

Duphaston contains dydrogesterone. It is used to treat female infertility, different kinds of menstrual problems including painful or irregular periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and endometriosis. It helps to restart periods that stopped before the menopause and to prevent unusually heavy period. It is a safe and effective medication for long term use.
