Is It Safe To Take Half Pill Of Lisinopril In Addition To The Prescribed Dosage To Lower Bp Levels?

I have been having pain in my left arm and shoulder and left side of head along with rapid heartbeat and bp is around 189/135 ? Its started around 2am lastnight then went away but has happened two more times just recently tonight. I am on bp meds lisinapril 40mil. and take furosemide 40mg. once a day ? Is it safe to take a half pill of lisinipril to get bp lower ?

Hello,

You can take additional lisinopril.

If blood pressure is persistently high, you have to consult a physician and add additional drugs like thiazides.
