Is It Safe To Take This Drug?

hi,
I live in Tanzania and have recently been diagnosed with worms, amoeba and other bacteria (that I can't remember the name of) I'm 9 weeks pregnant, the doctor has prescribed Ampiclox - i want to know a) if it going to help the issues and b) is it safe to take at the stage of pregnancy that I'm at.
