I am having a hysterectomy on June 7th. I am 38 years old. I had my tubes tied last year and was back to work the next day. I had gastric banding surgery on a Tuesday and returned to work on that Thursday. I push through most anything. My question is, I have young children and dogs and thought the best bet for me to heal well in the days following my surgery would be for me to get out of my chaotic house. I booked a flight to a resort with my 20 year old daughter to help care for me. It is booked for June 12 (5 days after the surgery). I plan on sitting and reading a book for 5 days as I rest, relax and nap whenever I want (something I could never do at home). Is the flight okay? Any suggestions to make sure it is a safer trip?
