Hello,
I understand your dilemma. While vasograin is good for pain relief of migraine, it contains ergotamine which puts you at risk of blood vessel related and other side effects.
Potential side effects include
hypertension,
palpitation, chest pain and valvular disease. Arterial spasm, sometimes with resulting distal necrosis, has been reported rarely. The extremities have been most frequently affected and amputation has occasionally been required. Rare vascular side effects have included tongue necrosis, blindness, ischemic
pancreatitis, ischemic hepatitis, bowel infarction, renal arteriospasm with
acute renal failure, fatal stroke,
venous thrombosis, and cerebral arteriopathy.
If you require to take so many vasograins, my advice would be to try some simple migraine preventing medicines in addition to life style changes so that your migraine attacks would become less and you do not require to take a potentially dangerous medicine so often.
I am available to answer if you have further queries.
