Is It Safe To Use Melacare To Reduce Dark Circles Under Eyes?
hi..i have used diprosalic for my face..when i stopped it it started darkining under the eyes so now i have been trying different eye creams like secret to reduce them but they didnt work...a doctor gave me melacare just to use it around the eyes to lighten a bit so that it can look the same as other parts of my face..i need to know if i should use it or not..please advice me.. Thanks
Hi. As per your case history of using melacare cream for dark circles, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Diprosalic ointment is potent steroid and melacare is powerful depigmenting cream, so both should not be used for dark circles. 3. Apply a mild depigmenting cream like kojivit twice daily on dark circles. 4. Other treatment options are oral vitamin b12, vitamin c and chemical peeling done by a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
