Is It Safe To Use Surfaz Cream On The Scalp When Suffering From Sensitive And Itchy Scalp With Dandruff And Hair Loss?

I have dandruff due to oily scalp, and recently noticed that the front area of my scalp has become very sensitive and itchy and i fear hair loss due to this. Considering its a fungal infection i applied surfaz sn cream on my scalp. Is using this medication safe on my scalp or does have any adverse effects? Thank you

I can understand your concern for sensitive and itchy scalp with dandruff and hair loss. The hair fall can be due to any long term illness or any emotional or stressful event and due to nutritional deficiency or hormonal influence and the related dandruff is a common day to day problem.

If I were your dermatologist then would have prescribed you tablet containing Acetylcysteine, Calcium Pantothenate, Selenium, Zinc, Biotin, Copper as active ingredients. You can take these vitamins in the form of biotin, calicium pantothenate and other vitamin B complexes.

Additionally increase you protein intake on daily basis and eat sprouts. Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and sprouts which contains vitamins and minerals necessary for normal hair function.

Do not apply surfaz as it contains steroids in it which are always to be sued under dermatological guidance.
