Is It Sufficient To Apply An Anti-fungal Cream Around The Vagina For The Treatment Of Yeast Infection?
Hi, I am wondering if you can put the cream that I ve been given by my doctor for yeast infection on the outside(around your vagina and vulva) rather than inserting it DEEPLY since I m still a virgin(18 years of age) ? I ve also been given the necessary antibiotics to treat the infection.
If the fungal infection is visible around and near vagina - you can apply outside itself. If you can't see any visible lesion the you need to apply inside the vagina. You won't break hymen accidentally - you should use lot of force and undergo pain to break the hymen. You can apply the cream as much you can go without pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
