Is It Sufficient To Take Herbal Lozenges, Vitamin C And Salt Water For Untreatable Virus Causing Cough?

Lung doctor said I had an untreatable virus then proceeded to suggest three placebos to fill the void. I did not take the comeon and self treated with following My cough has subsided since I took charge and take 1000 mg of Vit c, salt water lavage and various herbal lozenges plus extra sleep and good eating practices.
