Is It To Be Concerned About Croaky Voice In Child?

Hi my 3 year old daughter has had a croaky voice for almost 2 weeks now- usually when she raises her voice the pitch sounds squeaky and strained. She is fine in every other respect and had no cold etc, this started after a family holiday involving lots of excited shouting- should I worry?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, during lots of shouting the throat may sometimes gets congested which leads to hoarseness in voice. I think you should tell your child to give some rest to the throat by speaking less and slowly. This will be alright in 2 days.
