Is Itching And Swelling Around Vagina Sign Of Yeast Infection?

Hi..
I have itching and swelling around my vaginal area from a few weeks. Sometimes feel burning sensation also. There is also a thick white discharge.
I'm 23 years old. I have poly cystic ovaries for which i was prescribed Diane-35. It had been two months after i started using these pills, the itching started. So i discontinued the pills. But the itching is still present.
Is the vaginal infection a yeast infection and is it because of those pills?
Please help me out to get out of this.
