Is Laser Therapy Safe Or A Faster Way To Reduce IgE Level?
hii
i have atopic dermitatis from birth.i m 15 years old.my ige level shows 4380 iu/ml. one doctor has recommanded me laser therapy as my ige levels are very high.
i want to ask is laser therapy is safe or is there is a faster way to reduce ige level
I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:
1. Atopic dermatitis with such high levels of IgE is usually associated with allergies.
As an Allergist-Immulogist, I would suggest you allergy testing and avoid the substances you may be allergic to you.
In my opinion, this is the safest way to reduce IgE levels and your symptoms.
2. LASER therapy may be used to treat skin lesions of atopic dermatitis, but as per my knowledge, it does not reduce IgE levels and therefore is not a permanent cure.
Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Thank you & Regards.
