Is Left Ear Fluttering Sensation Despite Nasal Spray Treatment A Serious Concern?
Hi, I have a fluttering in my left ear. It seems worse in the evenings and when I wake in the mornings. I’ve been taking a steroid nasal spray from doctor for 3 weeks but it’s not away. I don’t seem to have it all the time. I have no other symptoms. I am worrying about it. Thank you.
The symptoms seem to be related to transient occlusion of eustachian tube. Doing the Valsalva maneuver may open the tube immediately. Do not do it with a rigorous force to avoid the damage to the ear drum. If, it does not solve the problem, then you should see an ENT specialist for this.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
