Is Light Pink Vaginal Discharge A Sign Of Infection?
Hi I have been having unprotected sex however me and my husband have been using the withdrawal of the penis for protection. I am due my period any day now but 2days ago I wiped myself after urinating and I had a very light pink clear discharge. The same happend the next day and today now nothing is there. I have took a pregnancy test it was negative. I also have a starnge taste in my mouth and I have a dull pain in my left side please can you give me any advice. Is it possible I have an infection?
Discharge can be pink if the sex has caused small tears or irritation in the vagina or cervix. Take care of your hygiene & avoid sex for a couple of days. However, pink discharge before periods can be a sign of implantation bleeding, a sign of early pregnancy. You can repeat pregnancy test after a couple of days with the first mid stream early morning urine or get a blood test done to confirm pregnancy. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
