Is Light Spotting During A Pregnancy Normal?

I am 7 weeks pregnant. A few days, I have had extremely faint spotting..like either a very light pink tinge or very light brown tinge. It is extremely minimal and only when I wipe. Mostly after straining from bowel movement. Do I need to be overly concerned?

Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

do not worry if it is just spotting. watch for bleeding. in case it bleeds then you need to consult a ER and do an scan of your abdomen.

also remember to follow up with your gynecologist regularly and monitor the baby growth.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
