Is Loss Of Vision, Pain And Throbbing In The Eye With History Of Cataract Surgery And Being Diabetic Normal?

I AM DIABETIC AND HAVE LOST A LOT OF MY VISION IN ONE , WHICH IS THE EYE THAT I HAD A CARAT REMOVED S COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. THERE IS A LOT OF PAIN AND THROBBING IN THIS EYE. I CONTACTED THE DOCTOR WHOM PERFORMED THE SURGERY AND HE WAS NOT CONCERNED TOO MUCH, STATING THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE THOSE PROBLEMS AFTER HAVING A CARAT REMOVED. I DO NOT AGREE BECAUSE I BELIEVE THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS EYE. I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ALL OF MY VISION. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had cataract surgery 2 years back and you are having loss of vision and eye pain.
This can be because of inflammation leading to retinal problems like cystoid macular edema.
This requires evaluation and examination by a retina specialist and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
