Is Low Platelet Count Related With Herpes And Suggest Treatment?
I was dx with type 2 herpes a few years ago. My doctor told me a few months ago that my platelet count was low, and that he is watching it. I just read something that seemed to connect the two--can you tell me if there is a platelet problem associated with herpes, and if so, what is the treatment?

hi, platelets count may be decreased in many condition, most common is viral infection. herpes is also a viral infection so platelets may be depleted by that cause. or there may be some other cause also for platelets depletion. you need to search the cause first and then take treatment accordingly.
