Back pain is common in early pregnancy.
Do you have vomiting or burning micturation with pain?
Cramp/pain in left side of abdomen should be investigated with ultrasound according to my advise.
Folic acid is prescribed in early pregnancy to avoid neural tube defects in baby. Ao its totally safe in pregnancy.
