Is Mammogram Necessary For Bilateral Mild Fibroandenosis?
Hi I am 34 years old diagnosed with bilateral mild fibroandenosis during a Clinical Breast exam. The doctor said Mammogram was not necessary unless I wanted to get it done. She prescribed Evion 400 mg for 2 months. Will I need to get a mammogram/biopsy done? Or a clinical breast exam will be enough?

1. If you are my patient i will first start with sonomammogram ( ultrasound breast).
2.Once ultrasound is done - Depending on the findings, presence of any suspicious lesion.
3.A mammogram may be indicated.
4.Cilinial examination itself if not enough / as small lesions can be missed.
