Is Menstrual Bleeding During Clinge Forte Treatment A Side Effect Of The Medicine?

Hi Doctor, I am having some vaginal infections,so doctor has suggested take clinge forte.I started the course after 10th day of my periods.But during my 3rd of course my periods have started again,which was stopped earlier.Is it the side effect of tablet.and do I need to continue the treatment or need to stop.Please reply me,I am bit confused regarding this. Thank you.

Hello,

Clinge Forte is a vaginal capsule, since you have started bleeding do not use it at present. If the vaginal infection persists you can use it after your menstrual bleeding stops. Period bleeding is not a side effect of Clinge Forte. You are advised to get STD test done to detect STI. STI can cause vaginal bleeding. Bleeding may also occur due to hormonal imbalance, PID, fibroid, endometriosis, etc. Get clinically examined.
