My girlfriend just turned 50 today and hasn t had a period seance March.tough she was going thru the change(.menopause ).and she started spoting Monday and had too pew a lot.and then this morning it s been full force .is this normal .not to have a period for that long and then start all the sudden 5 months later.thanks doc..concerned boyfriend..ps.she has never had any children..didn t know if that might help

Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
