Is Missed Period Sign Of Pregnancy?

I have missed my period, continue to have cramps like i'm going to start but dont. I took one pregnancy test since ive been late and it came out negative. Today i devolped a uti but havent had sex in a while. I was wondering what could be the cause? Can i be pregnant?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
You had delayed petiods Your pregnancy test was -ve frequency of urination is common in early pregnancy.. but burning is not seen .
Home pregnancy test gives reliable test after 8 days delay in menses.If you had done it in time .. you are not pregnant.If you have done it prematurely,please repeat it after a week(while getting uti treated.. as infection in urine gives false +ve esults) /get blood hcg testing done & have a confirmed result.
