Is Missed Period With Nausea And Sore Breast Sign Of Pregnancy?
I'm 27 and have never missed a period or been irregular. I am 9 days late and yet every test I take has been negative. I have not changed my exercise or diet lately and am not overly stressed. If my husband and I conceived it would have been between May-June. A normal ovulation for me would be around the 1st-5th of the month. I have nausea and some vomiting, sore and growing breasts, discolored spots around my nipples, and I am suddenly gaining weight (maybe 5-7 lbs in the past month). I don't have insurance at this time so a blood test just isn't possible. Is there a possibility I could be pregnant even though it is negative?
Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Msgic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.
Urine pregnancy tests are quite sensitive. There is no need to do blood pregnancy test.
Even change in weight can cause hormonal imbalance delaying the period. This could be the probable cause in your case. Wait for a week. If you don't start your period by then, repeat urine pregnancy test by early morning sample of urine. If negative, take Progesterone 10 mg daily for 5 days to start your period.
I hope this is helpful. If you have further concerns, contact me through Healthcare Magic.
