Is Moodiness And Increased Crying A Normal Side Effect Of Switching From Diane 35 To Althea Pills?

hello. i am currently on my 2nd month of taking contraceptive pill. on my 1st month i take diane 35 but because i had allergies such as hives and itchiness around my body, i decided to switch to althea pills since i had research that they have the same ingredients. since i started taking Althea pills i am very moody and cry s easily. is it a normal side effect? im afraid i might be pregnant but i have taken the pills the same time every day without missing any.

You are afraid you can be pregnant. You are stressing yourself unnecessarily. If you have taken the pills at the same time, every day. Have not missed the pills, have not vomited the pills taken, then there is little chance that you are pregnant. Increased crying and mood changes commonly occur due to PMS, some people get irritable, depressed, or experience mood changes just before their monthly periods.

It is a symptom of a common condition called premenstrual syndrome (PMS). PMS can also make a person a little depressed and uncomfortable. You can continue to take the pill that is suiting you. Stay at rest, just relax and in case you miss your periods you can get a pregnancy test done to stay on the safer side. Pregnant or not, treatment and management will be done by any practicing gynecologist. Do not stress.
