Is Muscle Spasm On The Face And Migraine Related To Anxiety?
I have had a muscle twitch/spasm on the left side of my face (lower mouth/jaw area) for almost two months. It comes and goes, but I have tried so many things to get rid of it (changes in diet, exercise, vitamin supplements, more sleep, etc.) Any other suggestions? Could it be related to anxiety and/or tension? I do get migraines and thought maybe it could be due to blood vessels pressing on a nerve or something?
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having muscle spasms on the face. The commonest cause for these muscle spasms is anxiety. Hence in your case these may be related to anxiety. Treatment of anxiety will resolve your symptoms. Along with treatment of anxiety use of multivitamin supplements will help.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly. Hope this answers your question. Do write back to me for further questions.
