Is My Current Mexazolam Taper Of 0.5mg Daily After 3 Years On 1mg Safe, And Does It Carry A Seizure Risk?

I have been taking 1mg of Mexazolam for about 3 years. I have decided I want to come off. My Doctor gave me a taper dose of .5mg in the morning and then .5mg at night for 6 weeks. Now I am taking juat .5mg for the next month only in the morning. Is this enough of a taper and is there a seizure risk with coming off this way.?
